The Ezekiel W. Dimond Library is the main library on the Durham campus and houses collections supporting the humanities, social sciences, business, health sciences, human services, education, and earth sciences. Dimond Library is also home to the federal and state depository publication collections, multimedia, Special Collections, University Archives, and the University Museum.

The Chemistry Library supports research in analytical, inorganic, organic, organometallic, and physical chemistry, as well as materials science and related disciplines. It holds the chemistry core curriculum journal collection, relevant monographs, symposia, and series in all fields of chemistry. The Engineering, Math, and Computer Science library serves the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, as well as others from the community with research and educational needs in the areas of computer science, mathematics and statistics, and engineering. The David G. Clark Memorial Physics Library, located in DeMeritt Hall (Room 114, across from Handly Auditorium), provides reference service and materials on physics and astronomy, from introductory to research level. The library includes over 25,000 volumes. Major indexes and most journals are available online. Learn More
