Changes Coming to Library Search Box

Posted April 22, 2019

Less Searching. More Finding.

On July 2, 2019, UNH Library will implement a new library services platform, which will replace our current 25-year old library system and the library search box. The new library search interface will provide an enhanced user experience with many new features.

What This Means for You

You will be able to:

  • Access all library holdings, including course reserves, from one search box
  • Generate citations quickly for articles, books, and more
  • Export citations into your preferred citation management tool, such as Zotero or EndNote
  • Use your UNH ID and password to renew books, view search history and favorites, request materials from other UNH campuses, and more

NOTE: Links to library materials in MyCourses may need to be updated. Contact your subject librarian for assistance.

We Are Here to Help

We will offer drop-in sessions during the fall semester to orient you and answer questions. We will communicate updates and solicit feedback through our website.

As with any major system change, there may be unanticipated issues. We thank you in advance for your patience.

Many other university libraries have already made this upgrade. Visit these library sites with similar setups for examples of the upcoming changes:
