William Hazeltine Gage was a merchant from Boscawen, NH. He was born 21 Mar 1791 son of Thaddeus Gage and Molly Bean, married Sarah Sargent in 1814, and died in Boscawen 26 Sep 1872.

This folio-size, full-tooled leather ledger, inscribed as “No. 3″ on the cover,
records various business transactions, including the provision of food items (corn,
potatoes, fish, pork, beef).
