About Freshman Week

Freshman Week at the University of New Hampshire was first held in 1924. The purpose of the week was to acquaint the new students with each other and with the college. Lectures were given on such topics as How to Study, Personal Hygiene and the University Library. The freshman were also given intelligence tests.
