We require applicants to be eligible for the Federal Work/Study Program. If you are unsure of your work/study award or if you are even eligible, check with the Financial Aid Office in Stoke Hall. While we do accept applications from students who are not eligible for the work/study program we will not review those applications until we have exhausted all applications from work/study eligible applicants.
Also, it is important for all applicants to understand that a work/study position at the Library is not paid study time. The title "work-study job" can be misleading. We do not hire students to study. We employ students through the work-study program to perform necessary projects and tasks to help keep the library in operation. Students looking for employment that regularly offers study time may want to look elsewhere for employment.
