About the Webster Family

David Webster owned and operated a store, a boarding house, and a shoemaker’s shop in Goffs Falls, now an area in the southern part of Manchester, N.H., from before the building and completion of the Middlesex Canal. He was the brother of Captain Amos Webster. Franklin Webster was his son.

About the Webster Family Account Books

The account book dates from 1806-1833 and the two ledgers from 1824-1830-and 1826-1891, respectively.
