About the NCAA

Prior to the start of each college hockey season the National Intercollegiate Athletic Association publishes an annual NCAA Ice Hockey Guide. In addition to a recap of the previous season, the publication includes rules and regulations that will govern the coming season.

About the Collegiate NCAA Collection

The material in this collection was donated by Sid Watson, former Bowdoin College hockey coach and Athletics Director, Bill Cleary, former Harvard University hockey coach and Athletics Director, hockey historian Sean Pickett, and Paul Duffy. It consists of materials from the Rules Committee’s meetings, rule changes, correspondence, NCAA Ice Hockey Championship Handbooks, and NCAA guides from 1932-1989.
