Archibald MacLeish was an American poet, writer and the Librarian of Congress. He
is associated with the modernist school of poetry. He has received three Pulitzer
Prizes for his work.


About the Archibald MacLeish Letters

Two letters written by Archibald MacLeish to publisher William Ewert regarding Lawrence
Thompson’s biography of Robert Frost. In the letter of October 10th, MacLeish also
mentions the opening of one of his plays in New York City.
