About Reverend Ebenezer Haseltine
Minister, Epsom, N.H.
About the Reverend Ebenezer Haseltine Sermons
Seven holograph sermons, 1786-1813, written on rag paper notebooks and sewn into 7 marbled protective covers. Haseltine, a Dartmouth College graduate, was the minister in Epsom, N.H. from 1784 until his death in 1813. Typically, each sermon was preached more than once and Haseltine noted the locations where he preached them on the back of each sermon. The sermons are numbered.

Ebeneezer Haseltine was my great x 4 grandfather (Reed Haseltine Harder, Mary Haseltine Harder, Charles Patrick Haseltine II, William Ebeneezer Haseltine, Charles Patrick Haseltine, Ebeneezer Haseltine Jr., Ebeneezer Haseltine, Dartmouth College Class of 1777.) I am an incoming Dartmouth class of 2013. I have a copy of Ebeneezer Haseltine’s “Warning to Young People against Sin”, and would like very much to have his other extant sermons, preferably in facsimile. Please let me know how I can obtain these 7 sermons. By the way, I can trace Ebeneezer’s lineage back to John Haseltine, who came with Ezeekial Rogers in 1637 to Rowley, Ma, from the Hassenden (Haseltine)estate in Scotland, near Hawick.
