About the Madbury, New Hampshire Journal

This 50 page journal, primarily covering the years 1843-1844, contains entries on
women’s rights and the works of the poet John Keats. In the back are genealogies of
Eli Demerit(t) (1696) and Nathaniel Young (1794), suggesting that perhaps the author
was a member of one of these families.

One Response to “Madbury, N.H. Journal 1843-1854”

  1. Robert Mosier Says:

    Some of my ancestors include:
John Demeritt (b. 6/19/1698, Madbury) wife Margaret Buzzell, who had 7 kids in Madbury
John Demeritt (b. 12/29/1728, Madbury) wife Elizabet Cate, who had 3 kids in Madbury

I would be most interested in the pages on the Demeritts.
