Laptops
There are a limited number of laptops available for check-out at the Dimond Library Circulation Desk and the branch service desks. See which laptops are available.
A UNH Blackboard account is required to borrow laptops. Laptops are for use in the library only for a period of four hours. Generally renewals are not allowed.
Fines and fees:
- $5/hour for each overdue hour.
- $5 if the laptop cord is returned broken.
- Replacement charges for any broken or unreturned components. This includes the laptop, its cords, or accompanying devices.
You may print from the laptops.
There are two types of laptops available for connecting to the library network, wireless and ethernet:

- A UNH ID and a valid cisunix account are required to use these machines.
- To connect to the campus network the laptop must be plugged into an active port in the library. (Designated by an orange sticker next to the port.)
- Make sure that the domain listed under the place for username and password is WILDCAT.
- Standard cluster software is available through the network. (Therefore you must make a network connection even if you're not intending to use the internet.)

- Available to anyone with a valid UNH ID.
- Should connect to the wireless access points automatically.
- Offer Sci Finder Scholar, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Telnet, virus scan, and Internet Explorer.
