Make sure we have the materials
Check the title of the journal, book or database in the library catalog. The catalog record will have links to online access and note the years that are available online to us for journals.
Logging in through Blackboard is unnecessary
You may access our resources from off campus simply by clicking on the link in the catalog and then typing in your UNH username and password in the login screen. If you don't know your username or password, go to Login Help.
Not everything works on all browsers
If you are using Internet Explorer, try Firefox or Safari or Opera -- and vice-versa. In IE on Windows, it's all too easy to have told the browser not to open widows with mixed security. IE will ask if it's OK to open a non-secure window within that frame. The default answer -- and the one most people pick -- is "No!" - making it more difficult to view that document. This setting can be changed in IE by:
- In IE, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security
- Select the ‘Security’ tab
- Click the ‘Custom Level’ button
- In the ’Miscellaneous’ section change “Display mixed content” to Enable
Try the UNH VPN
If these methods don't work, try the UNH VPN.
You will need to use the alternate "all traffic" Junos Pulse configuration. This option sends all traffic ((not just UNH traffic) through the VPN. When configuring your Junos client, the Server URL or URL field should be set to
Once you are connected to the VPN, you should be able to work as if you were on campus.
