About Charles H. Pettee

Charles H. Pettee served the University of New Hampshire for 62 years in various ways. He was born in Manchester, NH Feb. 2, 1853. He graduated from Dartmouth in 1874 and received a degree in Civil Engineering from the Thayer School in 1876. In addition to his work at the University, Dean Pettee also owned the Durham Spring Water Co. which provided water to the town of Durham and to the University.

About the Charles H. Pettee Papers
