Records a variety of business transactions in northern New Hampshire (purchases and sales, as well as payment from the town of Lebanon of 50 cents for examining school teachers at the academy). Some of the names that appear in the ledger are John Emerson, Moses Fifield, Edward Howe, Pringle Hinckley, John Durkee, Wm. Cole, Freeman Brooks, Elisha Ticknor, and Humphrey Woods.
