Expanded Wireless Network in the Libraries

The Chemistry Library (Parsons), BioSci (Kendall) and the Math/Engineering and Computer Science located in New Hampshire Hall and all the study spaces in Dimond Library are now wireless locations.

This spring, the University Librarian, Claudia Morner, authorized the use of Library gift funds to add a wireless access point in the Chemistry Library and the Parent's Association generously approved a grant proposal submitted by David Berona, Systems Librarian, to expand the wireless network on Dimond's Level Three as well as install it on Level One. The reading rooms on Level Three, Special Collections Reading Room and the balcony areas on Level Four of Dimond have been wireless since early last year.

Accessing the Internet from the University Library is simple – either from an Ethernet port in a study carrel or accessing wireless while lounging on a couch. If you need a laptop, stop by the Reserves desk to sign one out.
