University Librarian Welcomes Students
It is with the warmest regards that I welcome you to the University of New Hampshire and its Libraries.
I invite you to come and discover the UNH Libraries - our main library, Dimond Library, is located in the center of campus (between Murkland and Thompson Hall) and four branch libraries specializing in the sciences -- the Biological Sciences Library located in Kendall Hall, the Chemistry Library in Parsons Hall, the Physics Library in DeMeritt Hall, and the Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science Library which is presently located in New Hampshire Hall while Kingsbury is being renovated.
You are starting a new and exciting time in your education, filled with limitless opportunities. We, the Faculty and Staff of the University Libraries, are ready to assist you along the way.
I hope that you will spend some time exploring the website and familiarizing yourself with the Libraries. I encourage you to come in for a tour and a personal hello. Check out our laptops, wireless connections, DVD collection and wealth of resources including electronic databases, books, and journals.
Most of all, you should know that we are here to assist you with all your information needs. Please do not hesitate to ask for help.
Sincerely,
Claudia J. Morner, Ph.D.
University Librarian
