Winter Movies at the Library

January 4, 2013

A movie night is a great way to relax and stay warm on a cold winter night. The Multimedia staff in Dimond Library have put together a selection of winter themed movies for your pleasure.

The display includes mysteries like Snow Falling on Cedars, and historic accounts of brutal winter weather in An Illinois Winter. A tough winter in New York City sets the scene for Midnight Cowboy, a timeless compelling movie about an unusual bond of friendship. Ice hockey fans can watch the story behind the 1980 US Olympic victory over Russia in Miracle. Visit the Multimedia Room on the second floor of Dimond Library to find these and many more films.
