Classic New England movies on display in Multimedia Center

The Multimedia Center has a great selection of films on display with story lines or shooting locations based in New England. You will find a wide array of titles including Mystic River, set in working class Boston and Good Will Hunting which was nominated for nine Academy Awards. Other films include The Departed which is set in South Boston and tells the story of the police waging a war on Irish-American organized crime and Salesman, a landmark American documentary, which tells the story in vivid detail of the daily grind of the door-to-door salesman. No matter your taste in movies you'll be sure to find something you'll enjoy in the Multimedia Center.

Presidents Make History: Movies on Display in Dimond Library Multimedia

Films of history, humor, and sheer entertainment are included in the current Multimedia display of movies about the Presidents of the United States. We have put together a collection of films that reflect how our presidents have shaped the history of our nation. Included are the PBS American Experience Presidents Collection of documentaries which give you a look into the lives of many of the men who have led our nation. You will also find entertaining feature films about presidential scandals in All the President's Men, romance in the White House in The American President, and even comedies like Primary Colors.

Visit the UNH Library Multimedia Center on the second floor of Dimond Library to borrow these and many more films.

In addition we have access to numerous streaming movies through Alexander Street Press American History in Video. These on-line resources are available to UNH students, faculty, and staff as well as on-site visitors.
