Courtyard Reading Room, Number 510 in Dimond Library, will be unavailable beginning at noon on Tuesday, September 6th through 4:00pm on Wednesday, September 7th. During the closure the
Cooperative Institute for Coastal & Estuarine Environmental Technology (CICEET) will host a workshop.
CICEET has invited new investigators to this workshop in Dimond Library to deepen their understanding of the technology life cycle as it relates to today’s coastal and estuarine management issues. They will discuss each of the 12 latest projects to be funded under CICEET’s Environmental Technology Development program in the context of the technology life cycle while identifying critical stages along the cycle as well as the corresponding “role players” who will have the greatest impact on the extent to which new technologies are successfully applied to natural resource management challenges. Participants will discuss challenges to technology development/application that may require increased attention while identifying opportunities for partnering and information sharing.
