Evans Digital Edition 1639-1800 based on the renowned American Bibliography by Charles Evans. The definitive resource for every aspect of life in 17th- and 18th-century America, from agriculture and auctions through foreign affairs, diplomacy, literature, music, religion, the Revolutionary War, temperance, witchcraft, and just about any other topic imaginable.
Knovel Scientific and Engineering Databases covers most aspects of the sci-tech field including but not limited to chemistry, biology & biotech, mechanical engineering, ceramics, environment, food science and safety, health & hygiene. Includes nearly 20 million data records from over 600 sources. Many references have Interactive Deep Searchable (IDS) tables and Interactive graphs and equations. For chemical compounds, the hot linked chemical name graphically displays its structure in a pop-up window. Side by side comparisons are easily accomplished by selecting individual members of the table. You can cut and paste data from tables into Word reports and/or Excel spreadsheets and other Windows apps. Many references have interactive graphs. Clicking on the graph produces the coordinates that can be easily exported into Excel, HTML or even JPEG formats. Interactive equations can parametrically solve for the dependent variable.

The database covers every important library giving the number of volumes held and outstanding features of the collection. Professors at major universities are also listed by name, together with the subjects in which they specialize. All entries provide: Name; address; telephone and fax numbers, e-mail and internet addresses; principal personnel; activities and publications, where available.
