Kingsbury Computer Cluster Comes to Dimond Library

Kingsbury Hall's loss of its computer cluster has become the Dimond Library's gain. 30 workstations have been added to the Library's main floor, available for use while renovation continues at Kingsbury Hall. Ten computers (6 PCs and four Macintosh) have joined the existing 12 in the Reference area of Dimond and the 6 in the Government Documents area, while another 20 PCs are available in the Hubbard Reading Room. These workstations are available for use during the Library's weekday, evening, and weekend hours. Student computer cluster consultants are also available to help users with general hardware and software support.

Two print stations have been set up in the Reference area to accommodate the additional cluster machines. Cluster attendants are available to assist users with printing questions.

The Library's cluster has long been the most heavily-used computing facility on campus, and these 30 computers are a welcome and much-requested addition to the library.
