The library is happy to announce a new web exhibit entitled “Investing in Diversity at UNH: The Turbulent Years, 1968-1972.”

The exhibit chronicles the beginnings of conscious inclusion of diversity in the community and curriculum at UNH from 1968-1972. It is a virtual extension of a display created by the library last year. Included in the exhibit is Mrs. Myrna Adams, UNH’s first black administrator, who will be the keynote speaker at the UNH Diversity Banquet on May 3.

The exhibit was created by Jody Fernald, Amie Familgetti, and Jennifer Carroll.

The exhibit creators thank Mylinda Woodward, Rob Wolff, and Meredith Ricker for their assistance. We also thank Elizabeth Slomba for hosting us on the Archives webpage.
