Visit the Map Room before February 12th to see examples of maps from the 1960s that were key components in the development of plate tectonic theory and examples of recent ocean maps created using newer technologies. These maps from our collection were used recently when labs from the Introduction to Oceanography met in the Map Room.
The Map Room is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. If you would like to see any of these maps at a later time or explore use of library cartographic resources in a class, contact the Map Librarian, Thelma Thompson.
The Map Room is located on Level 3, Main Level, in Room 347, adjacent to the collaborative work spaces in the Dimond Academic Commons.
