Traditional Jazz Series presents The Sofferman Perspective Featuring George Garzone, February 25

The UNH Traditional Jazz Series presents The Sofferman Perspective featuring George Garzone on saxophone on Monday, February 25 at 8pm in the Johnson Theater at the Paul Creative Arts Center.

Tickets are $8 for general admission and $6 for students and senior citizens. Tickets are available at the PCAC box office, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., by calling (603) 862-PCAC (7222), by purchasing tickets online, and at the door one hour prior to performance.

New Featured Resource: UN Water Statistics

Government information presents its latest featured resource from the United Nations as it declares 2013 the International Year of Water Cooperation.

UN-Water has created a portal to view maps, tables, and charts on indicators, at either country or global level, as well as additional geographic information.

UN-Water is currently working on the identification of key indicators for the water sector that can be used at a global, regional and national level. The site will be updated regularly to reflect their progress.

The UNH Traditional Jazz Series presents the Fred Buda Quintet on Monday, January 28 at 8pm in the Johnson Theater at the Paul Creative Arts Center.

General admission tickets are $8 each and $6 for students and seniors. Tickets are available at the UNH Paul Creative Arts Center Ticket Office and at the door one hour prior to the performance. You may also order tickets online or call 862-PCAC (7222).

Winter Movies at the Library

Embellishments Exhibit Extended until March 22, 2013

The UNH Museum is extending its exhibit, Embellishments: Constructing Victorian Detail, until March 22, 2013 and is adding special evening hours and events!

Please join us for Thursday evening informal tours of Embellishments with guest curator Astrida Schaeffer, January 17, 5-7pm.

The Sewing Tree in Dover is co-sponsoring a 6-hour hands-on Victorian techniques class on February 17.

Seasonal pop-up books in Special Collections

Special Collections has put together an exhibit to help put you in a holiday mood.

On the Main Floor (Level 3) of Dimond Library is an exhibit case of holiday pop-up books. Even more are on display in Special Collections on Level 1. Please come visit us and see the Christmas, Hanukkah, and winter-themed pop-up books from the Carel Chapman Movable Books Collection.
