Borrowing
Items on reserve can be found at the Circulation Desk on Level 3 (Main Level) of Dimond Library. You must present your UNH I.D. to sign out materials placed on reserve by your professor.
Items on reserve circulate for a shortened loan period to allow maximum access for everyone. The loan period may be 3-hours, 24-hours, or 72-hours depending on what your professor feels is appropriate. Most 3-hour items may be signed out overnight within 3 hours of closing.
Two items may be signed out at a time.
Renewals
It is possible to renew 24-hour and 72-hour reserve items
once online .
Returning
All reserve items should be returned to Circulation Desk staff. Reserve items should not be returned to any other desk.
Overdues
For most items, there is an overdue charge of $1 an hour. However, laptops are charged at $5 per hour overdue. The maximum fine per item is $50, but there is an additional clerical fee of $5 as well as a replacement charge if an item is not returned and your account is forwarded to the University Business Office. Remember, items are on reserve to maximize access for everyone in the class who needs to read the material.
