UNH Blackboard information for students
Your professor may opt to use a Blackboard page for your course rather than placing paper items on Reserve. This allows you to access your course materials online at any time through the
UNH Blackboard web page.
UNH Blackboard information for Faculty
Including information about library resources and services in relevant sections within your Blackboard course may help students move from assignments and projects to the sources of information you want them to use.
Here are some ideas to consider when developing your Blackboard course site, organized by sections within Blackboard.
The Reserve Desk of Dimond Library, in conjunction with Blackboard, offers electronic reserves scanning service to Blackboard-trained faculty.
We are able to scan articles, old exams, class notes, etc. using Adobe Acrobat into .pdf format, and place them on our server. A web "index" page is then created for faculty to view and access their articles, from which they must then provide links to them for their students on their Blackboard page. (Faculty can still place paper copies of the materials on reserve at the library in the usual manner if they wish at the present time.)
Please review the guidelines, and if this sounds like a service you would like to utilize, please contact Cathy Woodbury, at the Reserve Desk at reserve.desk@unh.edu or 862-2748 for more information.
If you would like to utilize this service, please plan on submitting materials well in advance of when you will need to use them. (Please
