Course Reserves

Reserves are...

Materials pertinent to your class such as required readings--journal articles, book chapters, as well as past exams, and occasionally extra copies of textbooks may be placed on reserve by your instructor.

We also circulate many materials pertaining to UNH including Course Evaluations, Time & Room Schedules, Faculty Contract negotiations information, USNH Trustees Agenda and UNH job descriptions.

Other collections on permanent reserve are scripts and music scores for many Broadway musicals, dictionaries, and Roget's thesaurus.

How do I find Reserves?

Reserve Lists for each course for which a professor has materials on reserve can be viewed in the Library Catalog's Course Reserves page.

You must know your course's department name and number, as well as your professor's name. Search either by the professor's last name, i.e. Smith, or the department name and course number, i.e. Biol 401. Under the course listing you may find books listed by title, with call number information, and/or photocopied materials listed with a FOLDER number. For the latter, you MUST provide the folder number to the reserve desk attendants in order for them to locate the material you need. Please provide the title of any BOOK you require from the reserve desk.
