Multimedia Reserves

Many professors put items on reserve for listening/viewing in the Multimedia Center. Typical courses are in Communication, Forestry, Health Management and Policy, History, Kinesiology, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology and Theater.

Search for Multimedia Reserves from the Online Library Catalog. For help check the Course Reserves page.

Check with the Multimedia Center Supervisor for details regarding a specific course.

Faculty wishing to place items on Reserve in the Multimedia Center should either contact the Multimedia Supervisor or stop by Multimedia in person.

Reserve policies

Reserve DVDs and videos must be viewed in the Multimedia Center. Most may be checked out overnight 2 hours before the room closes. In that case, the items can be taken out overnight, but are due back within the first hour Multimedia is next open.

Reserve cassettes and CDs can be checked out for a period of up to 2 hours and can be taken out of the room during that period. If it is less than 2 hours before Multimedia closes, they can be taken out overnight but are due back within the first hour that Multimedia is next open.

There are no renewals on Multimedia Reserve items.

Reserve items have a 30 minute grace period after the due time. Items returned after the grace period has expired incur a charge of $.50/hour for each hour overdue.
