The Multimedia Center is the location of the Library’s audio and video collections, including videos, DVDs, compact discs, audiobooks, cassettes, LPs, and open-reel tapes
The collection includes classical, jazz, folk music, musical shows and music of historical interest. There are also operas, plays and poetry in several languages, feature films, speeches, lectures, interviews and dialect cassettes.
Scores & Printed Music
Most scores are classified with Library of Congress call numbers and are located on Level 5. These include ML (music literature) MT (music theory) and Oversize M (printed music) sections. Miniscores have local call numbers and are located at the end of the Folio section on Level 5.
Many Broadway musical scores and scripts have been placed on permanent reserve and may be obtained by requesting them at the Reserve Desk on Level 3 (Main Level) of Dimond Library in the Addison Reading Room.
