Renewing books
Renew books here
The normal borrowing period for most books checked out from the Loan Desk is 4 weeks. Unless recalled, all books have a 10-day grace period from the date stamped in the back of the book.
To renew your books near the end of the 4 week period, simply go online to
https://library.unh.edu/patroninfo/ and you can renew them for another 4 weeks. You can renew books between 14 days before they are due and 10 days after they are due. If you have trouble renewing online, please call the Loan Desk at 603 862-1535.
Extended Time - Faculty and Graduate Students of UNH and UNH-Manchester are eligible to borrow most items on Extended Time ("XT"). The Extended Time date is usually at the end of the Spring semester. All items are always subject to recall, so please check your mail regularly.
Books checked out on Extended Time do not need to be returned to be renewed. Each year, near the due date of the books, we will send you a reminder e-mail that you need to renew your books online at
https://library.unh.edu/patroninfo.
