What is WorldCat?

WorldCat is a catalog with worldwide coverage listing books, web resources, and other material. It contains all the records submitted by libraries (generally academic, special, large public libraries, and library consortia) who are members of the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC). WorldCat can be searched by subject, title, author, keyword, or a variety of other access points.

Materials found via WorldCat (and not in the UNH Library collection) can be ordered through Interlibrary Loan using the WorldCat interface. Like nearly all of our UNH Library databases, WorldCat is available both on- and off-campus to UNH faculty, students and staff. It is also available to on-site visitors. Contact the Reference Department if you have questions about using WorldCat.
