John Lamson (1769-1807)

John Lamson had been a partner of Henry Ranlet in 1787. However, by 1790, John Lamson had severed the partnership and opened a printing office of his own in Exeter.

Lamson took Thomas Odiorne as his associate. Odiorne had no experience as a printer, but was considered to have literary taste and ability. Their partnership was short-lived.
