- Collection Development - determines which books, periodicals, videos, microforms, and electronic materials (including indexes and databases) will be acquired by the Library and from which funds.
- Government Information - A depository for U. S. government documents and maps.
- Interlibrary Loan - borrow books and materials not owned by UNH from other libraries.
- Loan Department- including the Reserve Desk, Periodicals, Microforms, Multimedia Center, and Stacks & Storage
- Milne Special Collections and Archives - including the Special Collections, University Archives, and the University Museum.
- Reference - for research help and instruction.
- Systems - to facilitate and support library technology and services.
